Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehab

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in medical/surgical nursing and will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care. The role includes working with an adult patient population and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care.

Position Information

• Shift: Night shift, 1900 – 0730
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner

Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 10
• Supervisor: Senior Director, Acute Care Services
• Common Diagnoses: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Stroke, Joint Replacements

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in med/surg nursing
• Preferred Experience: Acute inpatient rehab nursing
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Education: RN certification and licensure required for Montana

Additional Requirements

All applicants must possess the required certifications prior to starting. Certification in “Handle with Care” is necessary for all acute RNs. Please ensure familiarity with all nursing protocols pertinent to rehabilitative care.
