Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Specialty team, specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant nursing practice and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Shift Details

• Shift: 3×12 Hour Nights (19:00 – 07:30)
• Floating to other units or facilities is required as needed.
• Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, though this may vary based on unit needs.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Surgical Specialty unit.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, using the Omnicell medication system.
• Documenting all patient interactions and care provided in the EPIC documentation system.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in MS/Tele or similar settings.
• Current South Carolina RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Experience in Telemetry, Emergency Room holding, and Cardiac Telemetry is preferred.
