Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, managing high-acuity cases. This role involves providing comprehensive care for critically ill neonates with a wide range of complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonates, including those with surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed, while monitoring patient vitals and response to interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment to support and manage patient needs, including ventilators and other critical care devices.
• Support families through education and emotional care during challenging times.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio or Compact License.
• Level IV NICU experience is required.
• Experience with ventilator and trach management.
• Certifications in NRP, BLS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
