Position Overview

The Anesthesia Technician provides essential support in the operating room by facilitating anesthesia procedures and ensuring the proper functioning of anesthesia equipment. This position offers the opportunity to float between units and requires availability for on-call duties, including night shifts and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers during procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready and functioning.
• Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in the administration of anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures.
• Handle cell saver equipment as needed, with preference for candidates possessing prior experience.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Work Schedule

• Day Shift: 5×8-Hour (07:00 – 15:00)
• Night Shift: 5×8-Hour (23:00 – 07:00)

Additional Information

• Position requires floating between units as necessary.
• Weekend and on-call availability are required for 24-hour coverage.
• Expected staffing ratio is 1:1.
• Block schedules will be implemented.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Anesthesia Technician is preferred.
• Familiarity with cell saver equipment is a plus.
