Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Main 11 West Acute Neuroscience Unit is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a progressive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with acute neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments in care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care processes, health management, and lifestyle modifications.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Proficient in using EPIC electronic health record systems; certification required.
• Ability to work essential shifts, including every other weekend and two holidays per contract period.

Shift Details

This position involves night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week, specifically from 19:00 to 07:00.

Work Environment

The role will be within a Patient Care Unit specializing in acute neuroscience care, necessitating a high level of clinical skills and emotional resilience.
