Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR/GI RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Operating Room (OR/GI) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in gastrointestinal procedures and demonstrate proficiency in circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning scopes.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 5×8 hour shifts, Day Shift (11a-7p)

Call Requirements

• Typically 5 days in a 4-week period
• 11p-7a call and one weekend every 8 weeks

Responsibilities

• Circulate, scrub, and assist with procedures in the Operating Room, including GI, Robotics, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, Orthopedic, Urology, and Plastics.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of surgical tools and scopes.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Gastrointestinal nursing required.
• Expertise in scrubbing for GI procedures as well as proficiency in Robotics, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, Ortho, Urology, and Plastics surgeries.
• Ability to meet floating requirements as needed.
• Willingness to work on holidays as required.
