Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

The Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various cardiac conditions. This role requires a strong background in cardiac nursing and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Required Skills and Certifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• NIHSS certification is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac nursing experience is required
• Experience in MS/Tele/Step Down units is preferred

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour shifts from 1845 to 0715
• Contracts of 36 or 48 hours are available
• Longer contracts available through February 27, 2027
• Floating to other units as needed
• Weekend coverage: 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks
• No call required
• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:6
• Maximum of 7 days of RTO permitted
• Willingness to work holidays is required

Responsibilities

Contract staff may be involved in various team efforts during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. There may be a possibility of assignment changes during the contract period as needs arise.
