We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgical procedures. This position requires strong nursing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Unit Type: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Shift Notes: 10 hour days in PACU/Pre-op/recovery/GI lab
• Certifications Required:
• ACLS
• BLS Certification
• PALS
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: 2 out of the 3 major holidays
• Call Requirement: Yes
• Scrub Color: Navy
• Telemetry Equipment: Phillips
• IV Team Support: No
• Respiratory Therapy: Available 24/7
• Pharmacy Services: Available 24/7
• Shift Types: 8-hour shifts
• ICU Patient Recovery: Yes, ICU patients recover in PACU

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a PACU or similar setting
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
