Medical Social Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Social Worker to join our team. This position requires a strong candidate with experience in acute care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 20-23 patients.
• Provide comprehensive social services to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Assist patients with emotional and social challenges related to their illness.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).
• A minimum of one year of acute care experience is required.
• Must have an active license to practice as a social worker in California.
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring a variable 5-day workweek. Department operations occur seven days per week. Days off may vary and are not guaranteed to be consecutive, although efforts will be made to schedule consecutive days off when possible.
