Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule

• Day Shift: 3 – 12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Willingness to obtain the NIHSS certification prior to the start date.
• One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.

Assessment Requirements

During orientation, you will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment. An acceptable score on both assessments is necessary to continue in the position.

Unit Information

This position will primarily be based in a 5D Orthopedic/Surgical unit.
