Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical (Nursing)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients while facilitating optimal recovery.

Schedule

This position requires flexibility as the schedule varies between 7 AM to 7 PM. Employees must be available to work during major holidays.

Holiday Expectations

• Must work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
• Must work 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the Medical/Surgical specialty
• Current AHA BLS certification is required

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed
• Assist in the development of patient care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
