Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

We are seeking an experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care to join our team in Southern Tennessee. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment while providing quality care to patients across all ages.

Position Information

• Role: Registered Nurse
• Specialty: Medical Surgical
• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: 24
• Call Requirements: As needed, with a response time of 30 minutes to 1 hour
• Float Requirements: As needed

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 44
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• EHR: Meditech
• Patient Population: Serves all ages

Qualifications

• Education: Must possess valid RN certification/licensure to practice in Tennessee
• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical experience required
• Meditech Experience: Required

Desired Skills and Fit

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Proven experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience with a variety of diagnoses and treatments common in the Med Surg setting
• Personality Fit: Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively in a team environment
