CVOR Surgical Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CVOR Surgical Technologist to support our surgical teams in providing high-quality patient care during cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology, particularly in the operating room setting, and will assist in various surgical procedures under the direction of the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff in the operating room.
• Handle surgical instruments and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by preparing necessary instruments and supplies prior to procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and draping prior to surgical procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
