Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position involves the delivery of coordinated nursing care for patients or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. The Registered Nurse will supervise and direct the activities of varying levels of assigned nursing staff, while also coordinating care with other disciplines. Successful performance in this role requires the utilization of critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Requirements

• Day Shift/Auto Offers/36-48 hours per week
• Solid telemetry experience required, as these are mixed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required
