Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist for a daytime position from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality therapy services to patients, helping them to improve their daily living and working skills through therapeutic activities. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations, assessments, and therapeutic interventions for patients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Document patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on interventions and techniques to support continued recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Current NBCOT Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid Occupational Therapist License.
• Driver’s License with photo identification.
• Completion of a background check.
• Skills checklist from an agency/Records of nursing-related competencies/exams.
• Current certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Records of tuberculosis test.
• Hepatitis vaccination record.
• Influenza vaccine record or declination.
• Copy of agency’s Certificate of Liability Insurance.
• Successful completion of a drug test.
• Submission of an attestation form.

Work Environment

This is a travel position that may require the therapist to work in multiple locations within the region, providing flexibility and variety to the role.
