Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Behavioral Health to join our team. This is a travel position requiring availability for day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions for patients in a behavioral health setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient behavior and mental health status, providing support and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment records.
• Participate in educational programs and training as required.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in Arkansas or a multistate license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health nursing.
• Current training in SAMA (Safety and Management of Aggression) is required, but can be completed at the facility if needed.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records (EHR) is required.
