Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN): Pediatrics/PICU

This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care within pediatric and pediatric intensive care settings, with an emphasis on patient-centered care and effective team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in acute care settings.
• Float frequently to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience, with a strong background in Pediatrics and PICU.
• Required NICU experience is a must.
• Current nursing license in the appropriate state.
• Certifications as required by the facility, including Handle with Care certification.

Orientation & Training

Orientation sessions are conducted biweekly on Mondays. Orientation dates are available on request.
