Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field and hold a valid certification from either the ARRT or NMTCB. This position offers the opportunity to work with both PET and Nuclear Medicine modalities, serving multiple locations within the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures and diagnostics following established protocols.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in a safe and effective manner.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment as needed.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately.
• Float between various facilities to manage workload and census effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
• Current ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
• Strong understanding of nuclear medicine protocols and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, with the earliest start time at 6:15 AM and the latest end time at 8:30 PM.

Additional Information

This is a 13-week contract position with an expected workload of 40 hours per week. The candidate may be required to float to different locations as needed to cover census. This role does not involve on-call requirements.
