Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This role is part of a float pool for Medical Surgical units, providing nursing care to a diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics. The position offers the opportunity to work flexible hours with 12-hour night shifts available.

Shift Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30)
• 36 or 48-hour shifts available
• Weekend coverage required: Every other weekend

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg setting

Patient Population

• Adults
• Geriatrics

Medication and Documentation Systems

• Medication System: Omnicell
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Communication System: SBAR

Essential Skills

• Medical/Surgical nursing care
• Blood product administration
• Peripheral line care and management
• PICC line management
• Starting IVs
• Nasal cannula application
• Implementation of isolation precautions
