Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care for a variety of medical and surgical patients. This position involves utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, in accordance with professional standards and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
• Assume responsibility for patient assessments and care planning.
• Maintain a maximum patient to nurse ratio of 6:1 to ensure quality interactions and care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care and support healthcare goals.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of nursing practices and patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS Certification.
• Active Registered Nurse License in Kansas (or compact license).
