Pharmacist Inpatient

We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various pharmacy operations and will work collaboratively to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications using the EPIC system.
• Verify medication orders through the EPIC Order Verification process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management.
• Participate in the medication reconciliation process.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Assist in training and orienting new pharmacy staff as needed.
• Provide pharmacy services during designated shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina pharmacy license (BLS required).
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience is required.
• Previous experience with EPIC Dispense Preparation and Order Verification is preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply if they possess established operational pharmacy skills through work experience.
• Flexibility to float to other areas as needed.

Shift Information

This position requires a 5×8-hour shift during mid-hours (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM), with potential to work weekends and holidays as needed.
