Job Description

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. This role requires proficiency in managing patients with various medical conditions, particularly in an orthopedic unit with medical-surgical and telemetry overflow. The ideal candidate will handle cardiac drips on occasion and ensure high-quality patient care.

Shift Information

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: 4×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00)

Patient Care Ratios

• 1:6 to 1:7 patient care ratio

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• ACLS certification preferred; BLS and NIHSS required
• Must be proficient in cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Experience with both orthopedic and telemetry patients is beneficial
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must reside outside the 90-mile radius; local candidates are not accepted
• Pending licensure is acceptable
• Previous permanent staff ineligible for travel for 10 years
