Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment focused on patient safety and satisfaction.

Details

• Shift: 4×12-Hour Days (07:00 – 19:00)
• Ratios: 1:6-7
• Block Scheduling: May be accommodated

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Certifications required: BLS, NIHSS
• ACLS certification preferred
• Proficiency in administering cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Must be adaptable to occasional cardiac overflow within the unit
• Compliance with the 90-mile radius rule – local applicants are not accepted
• Pending license applications are accepted
• Previous permanent staff are ineligible for travel positions for 10 years
• Scrubs required: Navy Blue

This position is within an orthopedic unit that also accommodates medical-surgical and telemetry overflow patients, ensuring a diverse and dynamic nursing experience.
