Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using state-of-the-art imaging technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to any changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procedures and patient care.
• Participate in department initiatives aimed at improving patient care and operational efficiency.

Schedule

This position requires availability for Monday through Friday shifts, with on-call responsibilities two days per week and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Certification in radiologic technology and specialized training in interventional radiology.
• Current valid state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist.
• Previous experience in interventional radiology preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
