Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department (ED) team. This role offers a flexible scheduling option with alternating or straight 48-hour workweeks, guaranteeing 84 hours biweekly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume or trauma settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Perform initial assessments and triage patients based on their condition.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
• 2 years of experience will be considered if the applicant has worked in a high-volume or trauma facility.
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHS certifications required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

Nights: 4×12-Hour shifts from 19:00 – 07:00.
