Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing emergency situations and providing critical medical attention to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency room.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and disaster response activities.

Schedule

This position offers a flexible 36/48 hour alternating schedule or straight 48-hour shifts, with guaranteed 84 hours biweekly.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred; candidates with 2 years of experience in a high-volume or trauma facility may be considered.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHS.
• Prior emergency room experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is for night shifts, specifically 4×12-hour schedules, and requires the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a compassionate patient care approach.

Travel Requirements

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. Candidates with significant experience in high-pressure environments will be given preference.
