Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying changes that may require intervention.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
- Active RN license in the state of Hawaii.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
Schedule
The position requires rotating shifts with a commitment of 36 hours per week, typically consisting of three 12-hour shifts.
