Contract Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend Work: Yes

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant License (CA PTA LIC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for assisting physical therapists in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing treatment plans established by physical therapists
• Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes or concerns
• Educating patients and their families on exercises and procedures to improve recovery
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
