Sleep Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sleep Technician to join our team. This position involves performing Polysomnographic technology services with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care and demonstrate expertise in sleep medicine.

• Required Certifications: RPSGT certification and/or Respiratory Care Practitioner licensed by the state required, BLS
• Years of Experience: 1+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient hook-up and instruct patients on the procedures.
• Monitor Polysomnographic and audiovisual recordings during sleep studies.
• Score sleep records and conduct CPAP/BiPap titrations as needed.
• Maintain high standards of patient care consistent with organizational values and service standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess the necessary certifications and licensure, including RPSGT certification and/or a state Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in sleep medicine and related procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.

Unit Information

• Equipment: Familiarity with sleep study equipment and software is preferred.
• EMR: Experience with EPIC is advantageous.
