Cardiac Technologist

Job Description

The Cardiac Technologist is responsible for performing x-ray imaging and assisting in scrubbing cases within the Cath Lab. Responsibilities include conducting various procedures, including Left Heart Catheterizations (LHC), Right Heart Catheterizations (RHC), device placements, peripheral interventions, and carotid evaluations.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Four 10-hour days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call Requirements: One weekday on-call per week and one weekend every four weeks on a rotating schedule

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
• IEMA certification is required for the state of Illinois
• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification is required

Additional Information

Preferred candidates will have at least 2 years of specific Cath Lab experience. Weekend and holiday coverage are part of the job responsibilities.
