Ultrasound Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of ultrasound examinations and responsibilities, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety in accordance with established protocols.

Shift Details

• 7 on 7 off work schedule
• Monday – Sunday: 1:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Rotating on-call duty one night a week during work week and every 8th weekend

Training

The training period is scheduled from November 30th, Monday through Thursday with 10-hour shifts. Regular shifts will commence on December 7th.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations of the abdomen, breast, OB/GYN, and vascular systems.
• Ensure proper patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Provide accurate and timely reports of examination results to the healthcare team.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and perform necessary quality control checks.
• Assist with training and development of junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Experience in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations is necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and medical staff.
