Shift Information

Shifts are 10 hours with varied scheduling.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.

Certifications and Licensure

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• A valid State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer is required prior to the start of the assignment.

Job Description

Candidates must obtain a State of Hawaii license upon acceptance of the offer and must have it active by the start of the assignment. No time off will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract. Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption must be provided prior to the contract start date. The flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.

General Requirements

A minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting is required. Candidates must be capable of independently performing routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols, functioning without supervision. Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred. Additional skills in venipuncture, performing maximum intensity projections (MIP), multiplanar reformation (MPR), 3D imaging, as well as procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging, particularly in trauma or stroke cases, is a plus.
