Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU) to provide high-quality care within pediatric critical care settings, including the NICU, PICU, and CVICU. The candidate will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for our pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
• Perform advanced procedures and treatments as required for high-level care (Level 4).
• Float to various locations, including specialized units as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of all respiratory therapies provided.

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio RRT license required.
• Minimum one year of experience in pediatric care settings, specifically NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Certification in NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS.
• Experience in providing high-level pediatric respiratory care.

Schedule:

This position offers a schedule of either 3×12-hour shifts or 4×12-hour shifts, with options for both day and night shifts available.

Contract Length:

This is a 24-week contract, with possibilities for extension.

Additional Requirements:

• Complete two fingerprinting processes: one onsite for facility requirements and the other through the agency.
• All work history, including previous positions, must be accurately documented in the application profile.
• All required certifications to be submitted at the time of application.
