Respiratory Therapist (Allied)

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team, specializing in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) care. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to our patients. This position involves working on a weekend schedule, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic services to patients in the NICU.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy, specifically within the NICU specialty.
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• State licensure: GA RRT Lic.
• NBRC- RRT certification required.
