Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role involves critical support in the cardiovascular lab under the supervision of a physician, focusing on both interventional and diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in scrubbing procedures and monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Ensure procedure rooms are adequately prepared and equipped for each procedure.
• Monitor inventory levels of all instruments and supplies necessary for procedures.
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and engage in performance improvement activities.
• Assist in training new staff members and support departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and state licensure are required; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in an Interventional Radiology department is preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) certification is required at the time of hire and must be maintained.
• ACLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency in computer skills is necessary for effective job performance.

Work Schedule

This position entails working a standard schedule with rotating on-call responsibilities, including 2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.
