CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview:
This is a contract position for a CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) with a start date as soon as possible. The role involves working four 10-hour shifts, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, including a cardiac call obligation. The contract duration is 13 weeks.

Shift Details:

• Shift: Days, 4×10 (0645-1715)
• Call Requirements: Yes, including 3 weeknight call shifts per 4-week schedule and 2 twenty-four hour weekend shifts per month.
• Weekend Requirements: As needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Certification Required: BLS.
• Experience in Neuro, Spine, Thoracic, and Vascular specialties is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Average Daily Census: 50-75.
• Patient Population: Orthopedic sports (limited total joints), minimally invasive arthroscopic and laparoscopic cases, Robotics, General, GYN, URO, and Plastics.
• Floating within hospital: Yes.
• Floating to sister hospitals: No.

Additional Information:

• Scrub Color: Any color – scrubs provided for OR personnel.
• Charting System: EPIC.
• Parking Costs: $10.26 Daily.

Note: In the event of low census, healthcare providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call in 4-hour increments up to 1 shift’s worth of hours in a 2-week cycle. For ambulatory or surgical services that are closed on weekends and holidays, scheduling and minimum requirements during these periods may not apply.
