Special Procedures Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Special Procedures Technologist with Cath Lab experience to join our team. The role involves variable shifts and on-call responsibilities, including evenings and weekends. Detailed scheduling and call expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced imaging procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Assist physicians during procedures and provide high-quality imaging services.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols.
• Maintain equipment and manage inventory related to imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or an equivalent field is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of technical experience is preferred.
• Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is preferred.
• Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification is required.
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification is required.
• Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification is required.

Working Conditions

This position requires flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends. Responsibilities may include after-hours call and working two weeknights per week.
