Registered Nurse (RN) – PICU

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to join our team. This position requires flexibility, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 4×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Day Shift: 4×12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00)
• Rotating shifts are required

Work Schedule

• 52-week contract
• Must work 3 weekends within a 6-week schedule
• Required to work every other holiday, with a necessity to work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays
• Approve 40 hours for time off, with the exception of the first 2 weeks of the contract

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• May be required to float to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs

Qualifications

• Valid BLS and PALS certifications are required
• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
• Ability to submit with a pending Virginia nursing license is acceptable
