Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Assistant for a high-volume clinic. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in patient care by performing venipuncture and assisting with various medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draw 1-5 vials of blood from patients as required.
• Assist healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of patient records using Epic.
• Maintain a clean and compliant work area.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Proof of flu vaccination; no exemptions or declinations allowed.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and handling of lab specimens.

Additional Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts between 08:00 and 18:00.
• Weekend work is not required.
• Floating between various locations within the region may be required.
• Scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.
