CT Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissues, essential for diagnosing medical conditions. This role also includes performing a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information.
• Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.
• Carry out other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required.
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT required in certain states; preferred in others.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
