Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) who will provide respiratory care services. The position requires a commitment to a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekend work. The therapist may also be required to float between multiple locations within the region as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluations as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients’ responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory health and therapy plans.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments and responses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Active Ohio State License required at the time of employment.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• A copy of high school diploma or official high school transcripts must be provided during the compliance process.
