Job Description

Under the guidance and supervision of physical therapists, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) plays a crucial role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients. Responsibilities include:

• Implementing treatment plans developed by physical therapists, which may involve exercise, massage, and gait and balance training.
• Conducting therapeutic interventions to aid in patient recovery and improvement.
• Monitoring and recording patients’ progress during treatment sessions.
• Reporting treatment outcomes and progress to the supervising physical therapist to ensure continuity of care.

Shift Information

• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Weekend Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Current Texas or compact license is required.
