Respiratory Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing patient assessments and implementing treatments and therapies for a diverse population, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. This role requires high critical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in managing invasive and non-invasive equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate respiratory care.
• Implement and manage treatments and therapies for patients of various age groups.
• Attend to high-risk deliveries, ensuring proper execution of respiratory interventions.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment such as V-60, VOCSN, Hamilton, Vapotherm, and Airvo2.
• Ensure compliance with all standard safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care.
• Current certification through NBRC as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
• 1-2 years of experience in respiratory care, with a focus on neonatal and pediatric experience preferred.
• Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult abuse.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive 10-panel drug screening.

The Respiratory Therapist will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. The position requires flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and priorities.
