Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient assessment, implementing treatments and therapies, and will be proficient in managing both invasive and non-invasive equipment. This role includes working with a diverse patient population, including neonates, children, and adults.

Position Information:

• Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend
• Years of Experience Required: 1-2 years

Required Certifications:

• NBRC: CRT or RRT
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and implement appropriate treatments.
• Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Manage the use of various respiratory equipment including V-60, VOCSN, Hamilton, Vapotherm, and Airvo2.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care within the electronic health record system (Meditech).
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in pediatrics and neonatal care is preferred.
• Ability to perform high-quality patient assessments.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Educational Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care.
