Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, primarily focusing on dementia and geriatrics, while ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Shift Information

• Shifts: Days and Nights
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS Certification required

Work Environment

The facility has 51 beds and operates with a nursing ratio of 2 nurses during the day shift and 1 nurse during the night shift. Staff will utilize PCC as the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Orientation for new hires consists of 2 hours with the lead team followed by 1-2 shifts on the floor with another staff member.

Patient Care Focus

The primary patient population includes individuals with dementia and other geriatric conditions, necessitating a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
