Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The ideal candidate will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required

Essential Functions

• Collect pertinent data related to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop a care plan with prescribed interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement the care plan, coordinating care delivery, while promoting health and maintaining a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress toward achieving outcomes.
• Identify outcomes for the patient or the patient’s situation.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and caring environment.
• Provide educational opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
• Communicate health information directly to patients, families, and treatment teams.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
