Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient

Assignment Details

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for a temporary assignment with a choice of duration options: 13 or 26 weeks. The position offers a flexible start date, with the shift scheduled for either 5×8 or 4×10 days, determined by the traveler.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Skills: Proficiency in Outpatient, Acute Care, and Long-Term Care/SKILLED Nursing Facility is essential.
• On-Call: No on-call duties required.
• Floating: Clinicians will not float to different units.
• Block Schedule: Open to accommodating a block schedule.
• Local Candidates: Not accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Previous Employment: If candidates have worked as permanent staff for any facility in the region, they must have been separated for at least 3 months before being considered for a traveler position.
• Pending License: Accepted.
• Time Off: Requests will be evaluated individually upon offer.
• Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 72 hours per two weeks, with the possibility of being called off for one 8-hour shift during the same period.

Unit Information

The department provides services in hospital inpatient, swing bed, long-term care, and outpatient settings.

Housing Information

The facility offers housing for travelers during their assignment. The accommodations typically consist of one-bedroom apartments, available for move-in no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no later than 24 hours after it ends. Please note the following:

• Pets are not allowed.
• Housing units will usually accommodate only the traveler.
• Bringing additional family members must be pre-approved by the facility.
• The unit must be cleaned prior to departure to avoid additional cleaning fees.
