Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, particularly in Level I Trauma care, and a depth of experience in robotic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
• Utilize proficiency in robotic surgical systems, specifically the Davinci xi and DV5 robots.
• Actively participate in surgical procedures, including scrubbing and circulating as needed.
• Function independently across a variety of surgical specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart).
• Be available to address call requirements with a 30-minute response time.
• Adapt to floating requirements as necessary.
• Participate in patient care that may include COVID-19 patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Required Level I Trauma experience; Level II Trauma experience is not acceptable unless over one year is provided.
• Previous travel nursing experience is mandatory.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in robotic general, gyn, thoracic, and urology specialties with independent functioning capabilities.
• Ability to work weekend shifts (3-4 shifts within a 6-week matrix) and must be flexible for holiday shifts as needed.
• Must be tobacco and fragrance-free during employment.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a 3×12-hour day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30, with no block schedules available. The candidate must be willing to commit to a maximum of 7 days off as requested.
