Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Job Description

This position involves providing care in the Labor and Delivery department of an Acute Care Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for supporting women and families during the birthing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
• Float to like units as necessary to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Current California state nursing license.
• ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Schedule and Shift

• 3×12 Hour Night Shifts (19:00 – 07:00).
• Flexible scheduling options may be available at manager discretion.

Additional Information

• Total Staffed Beds: 377
• Free parking available for all staff.
• Charting system used: Epic.
• RTO must be included at the time of submission.
• The facility can call off staff once per two-week pay period.
