Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Post shift call required from 1900 to 2300, 1x/week, with potential for additional hours as needed.
• Scheduling will occur as needed, Monday through Friday.
• Flexibility is essential, as the role requires working at least 3 out of 5 major holidays.
• Scheduling preferences may be considered but are not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing direct patient care in the operating room.
• Working collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintaining a safe and sterile environment during surgical procedures.
• Floating between similar units as needed to meet staffing requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted if they have 2+ years of experience.
• Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS.
• EPIC experience is required.
• RTO (Request Time Off) must be submitted at the time of application.

Uniforms

Scrub color for registered nurses is Royal Blue. Specific uniforms for other roles (L&D/OR) will be provided.

Shift Information

• Day shift, typically comprising 3×12 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.
• Block schedules may be accommodated at the discretion of management.
